Our USB-WiFi sensor device multiple connectivity

Our USB-WiFi sensor devices offer many different connectivities and options to our customers. The following functional block diagram summarizes all the functions and features available from our sensor products. Our WiFi sensor devices (Models LFS104A & LFS104B series) provides USB and WiFi connections. From the WiFi connection, you can collect sensor data and save them to the cloud (Thingspeak.com IoT Cloud platform). Using the IoT cloud platform, you can perform MATLAB analysis and data visualizations. Once the sensor data is stored in the IoT cloud, you can connect to other cloud services such as Twitter, IFTTT.com, or Amazon AWS and...

Additional Display options for our USB and WiFi sensing devices in the Cloud

You can display sensor data from our USB and WiFi devices on Thingspeak.com IoT Cloud platform in many different ways. Besides the basic line plot, you can display the sensor data in a Gauge display format or you can display two sensor parameters on one plot. Let say you are monitoring ambient temperature and relative humidity using any of our sensing devices such as LFS108B, or LFS104A/AW. Here are the steps to create a Gauge display: 1- Create an account with Thingspeak.com and create a private Channel called Weather station. 2- Go to Channel Settings tab, and fill in all...

Additional services available on our USB and WiFi sensing devices

We talked about how to send a tweet alert from any of our USB and WiFi devices back a few months ago. Now you can do a lot more using Thingspeak.com IoT platform in conjunction with IFTTT.com which is a free platform to do more with your apps and devices. Using the IFTTT platform, you can send an email or an SMS when a sensor parameter exceeds or drops below a threshold value. You can get notification on Facebook Messenger or on Telegram or other communication services when a sensor parameter exceeds or drops below a threshold value. Here is...

Remote Infrared Temperature Measurement

We are introducing options on our USB and WiFi sensor devices for remote infrared temperature measurement. This option allows the customer to measure non-contact temperature in tight and hard to reach places. The IR sensor board is only 0.550 x 0.650 inches. All the functions and features of the sensor device remains the same. This options is now available on the following sensor devices: LFS108C3 - Infrared & Ambient temperature sensors to USB output LFS108D3 - Infrared & Ambient temperature, humidity sensors to USB output LFS104B3/BW3 - Infrared & Ambient temperature, humidity, barometric pressure sensors to WiFi/USB/Alarm output Other Developments...

K Type Thermocouple Connector with Noise reduction Filter board

Model LFS110 series provides K type Thermocouple connection with noise reduction filter board. The filter board is a 2nd order passive Low Pass filter which reduces noise on the thermocouple signal due to RFI/EMI noise. No external power is required to operate the connector or the filter board. The thermocouple input connection can be standard, miniature, or wired. The output connection can be standard or miniature.       For best results, it is recommended to use shielded thermocouple wire and connect the thermocouple shield to the shield connection of the LFS110 device.
